Automatic Math
Doing math with MultiForm is as easy as entering the number. Any math associated with the form is already programmed in. All you have to do is to type the number in.
Any field that is green (lighter green) is a math ENTRY field. Just move into the field and type the appropriate number.
Any field that is DARKER green is a math RESULT field. Any number in this field is the RESULT of a number typed into the lighter green Math ENTRY field. That is, DARK GREEN fields are calculated fields, and as such there is no need to ever be in the field. These calculated RESULT fields are skipped over when moving navigating through the form.
The illustration below shows both Math ENTRY and Math RESULT fields.
Math Fields
Over the years, we have seen other software where, to do the math, a calculator dialog would be presented for the numbers to be manually calculated. Then upon manually calculated the total, the calculator dialog would be dismissed and then the result manually typed in.
The form math in MultiForm has ALWAYS been performed automatically upon the mere entering of a number in the field. No calculator needed.
